Is anyone here going to be attending LouisiAnime here in Baton Rouge? I'm not expecting much, since BR isn't exactly a hub of any form of art, least of all anime. Most people here look at you crossways if you ask if they like anime. Still, it's got to be mildly entertaining to attend. Vic Mignola will be there in the least.

It's actually going to be my first anime convention, so I'm hopeful. I'd love to see some of the artist's that I admire from dA present, but thus far I haven't seen anyone mention it via journal or otherwise. Do you know of anyone?


Second question.... Anyone feel like teaching me Sunda?

Well, as a result of the overwhelming response to my last poll, there will definitely be an extension for the contest. I haven't figured out just how far to push the date back yet. Since ya'll helped me out so much with this last poll, I'll likely take another to see.

Thanks everyone for your help! I'm still a bit surprised to see so many people working on entries. Not because so many need more time, but because so many are actually planning on entering. Wow. I was already impressed by the number of entries I have so far. I didn't expect such a turn out.

The contest is drawing to a close, with only 14 days remaining. I've already had someone ask for an extension, but I think it's still a little too early for that. I'm not opposed to putting off the date, but it will take more than one person's request to do so. If for some reason you to not think you can complete your entry by the 9th, please let me know.

I already have quite a few entries in and they are all quite impressive! Judging will certainly be a difficult task, no doubt.

For those of you still working on your entries, please make sure that you are closely adhering to the rules and character details. Missing a crucial detail will definitely lower your chances at winning, so stay sharp! Even if you don't think you need it, you should check the F.A.Q. and double check the character information.
